Meet Hannah
Hannah Schupbach LCPC, CRSS
Owner and Therapist
I received my Master's Degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University and have been in the field of mental health since 2015. My background includes working within community mental health agencies and residential group homes for years before moving into private practice in 2021. I offer psychotherapy services for children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of presenting concerns. Identity matters when we enter this work together and it’s helpful for prospective clients to better understand who
I am in order to select an appropriate therapist.
As a queer disabled woman, I understand firsthand the challenges that come with learning how to ask for what you need and taking up the space that you deserve in your community. I will always advocate for and provide services that celebrate your gender identity, sexual orientation, requested accommodations and personal capacities. Additionally, I offer services aligned with the HAES model and approach body politics from the lens of fat liberation and body neutrality.
As a therapist, I firmly believe that you are an expert on your life and I will always treat you as such. I deeply value collaborating directly with clients, their loved ones and healthcare providers in order to achieve your treatment goals. I pride myself on providing astute clinical services that are rooted in unconditional positive regard, warmth, humor, empathy, cultural competency and understanding the social systems that negatively impact mental health. I prioritize listening to patients intently, providing honest feedback and offering a chance to develop skills in a non-judgmental space. I believe all clients can grow and heal when given time to reflect, a strong therapeutic alliance and while receiving continued community support.
